Emotional Intelligence (EQ) Self-AssessmentThe Chatfield EQ is an online self-assessment developed by Patsy Svare and Terri Pappas, Ph.D., to measure emotional intelligence. The assessment draws upon the insights of Dr. Jeanne Segal, author of The Language of Emotional Intelligence, and the work of Dr. Daniel Goleman, author of The Brain and Emotional Intelligence.
The assessment can be used to build self-awareness, reporting measures of attachment, stress management, emotional communication, non-verbal communication, humor, and conflict resolution. The report includes practical tips and suggestions for building on strengths and addressing areas of concern.
Many have also used the Chatfield EQ as the jumping-off point for participation in our workshop EQ: The Secret to Understanding Yourself and Others.
