Mimi is an award-winning marketing communications and editorial consultant based in Saginaw, Michigan. Her areas of specialty include:

Mimi has advised public and private school systems, education agencies, not-for-profit groups and publishers throughout Michigan on publications development and marketing communications strategy.

Mimi works extensively with educational organizations, not-for-profit groups, and publishers. Her clients include preK-12 school districts and educational service agencies, custom publishers (with philanthropy, geriatric living, and healthcare titles), textbook publishers (with preK-12 curriculum titles), and magazine publishers (with lifestyle and city and regional titles). In the role of executive editor and editorial director, she develops publications strategy, and in the role of managing editor, she manages creative staff and editorial content.

Earlier in her career, Mimi worked in marketing communications and editorial management with a number of nationally recognized organizations including the Art Institute of Chicago, the American Dietetic Association (Chicago), the American Institute of Wine & Food (San Francisco), the Minnetonka Center for the Arts (Minneapolis), and the Bay-Arenac Intermediate School District (ISD) in Michigan.

Mimi, who holds a BA in English from Saginaw Valley State University, University Center, MI, has earned eight national awards for her work in publications, marketing and image/identity campaigns, and video production. In addition, she has been a frequent speaker on topics related to publications development and marketing communications strategy at conferences sponsored by nonprofit and educational groups on both the state and national levels.

From 2000-2007, Mimi served on the board of directors of the Michigan School Public Relations Association based in Lansing. She is currently president of the Michigan chapter of the American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE).
