Sue managed recruitment for the Tribune Company’s corporate office and for the company’s largest business unit. In addition, while serving as HR director for CLTV News – a high-tech, progressive business unit – she continued to participate in and manage Tribune-wide HR programs affecting more than 40 business units and some 25,000 employees nationally. For CLTV News, Sue managed a wide range of HR activities including strategic planning; employee relations; professional, managerial, and executive recruitment; EEO compliance; and management development & training.

Sue received an MBA, with an emphasis in Human Resource Management and Strategic Management, from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and a BBA in Retailing Management from Drake University.
